Hello there! Welcome to my blog zone... where I come to think out loud.
Okay scratch that; it's not a "real" blog and won't have your typical posts. It's just where I come when I have a few minutes of "me time". The language isn't going to be "proper"... I will literally put in writing what my mind is rambling about lol. I'll try to keep it to a minimum but just so you're prepared, things are going to be pretty casual over here š.
The posts are going to be short for the most part because the kids do not leave me alone for more than a few minutes lol For all the mamas out there, you KNOW.
We love them and are beyond thankful for them but boy oh boy.... mm.
Anyway, come on in, take your shoes off and have a seat. Let's mingle!
My name is Maimuna and here's a little about myself.
I was born and raised in The Gambia, which is located in West Africa. I am a wife and a mother and I live in the U.S, in the state of Georgia.
My hobbies include spending time with my family, brunch or coffee dates with my friends, traveling, shopping, and reading Quran https://www.tiktok.com/@secqabai. I'm still learning and definitely still struggling with my Ų¹s but there's this special feeling I get when I read. Allahuma Barik.
I also love all things nature.... I enjoy the sound and smell of the rain and you'll catch me a few times just gazing at the sky in admiration of its beauty. The clouds are so beautifully put together and sunsets are just perfect. For sure, Allah is the best of creators.
A little educational background, I have a Bachelor's and a Graduate degree in Biology and Biomedical Engineering respectively but instead of working in that field, I have now decided to use my passion and hobby for shopping to make an earning. Check out my other post about how Hijabify came about! It's less than a minute read :-)
If you have a second, drop a comment below and introduce yourself. It'll make my day āŗļø
