So here’s the story behind Hijabify….
When I made the decision to start wearing the hijab, it was full of mixed feelings, bittersweet in a way - for lack of a better word. The moment my mind was made up, I was ecstatic. I tried on each of the hijabs I had purchased and couldn't wait for the next day at work to show up with it on. Like the youngins say these days, I couldn't "keep calm". lol
I was excited, grateful and thankful that Allah had guided me into doing what He asked of Muslim women. But then…. that meant I had to change my entire wardrobe and here comes the bitter part - finding modest clothing was a headache. Either I couldn’t find anything that I liked or I couldn’t afford the things that I liked. I told myself that if I were to ever invest time or money into anything, it would be in hijab-wear. I would make them beautiful, modest, of quality and most importantly, affordable. 6 years later, here we are! ☺️❤️ And I am loving every single day of this Hijabify journey. Alhamdoulillah, all praises due to Allah!
